For that opening shot of the bridge: I wonder if that was the original channel of the river? It may have moved due to human activity, such as dredging or levee construction, or it could simply have moved itself, especially in a big flood. No point tearing out a perfectly good bridge, especially since, in high water events, it would still be needed.
Finished updating the details of an Athearn N&W double-door boxcar and aged it 20 years. Removed the roofwalk, faux roofwalk grab irons, brakewheel and brake platform. Added etched brake platform, MTL brakewheel and wire corner roof grab iron. Discarded the stock floor and trucks. Added MTL floor/underframe, Barber RB trucks, ESM wheelsets, #1016 couplers. Microscale COTS, ACI and no-roofwalk decals added.
