My comment was for general use, not negative as your loads look really nice. I noticed that the Burlington Northern car seemed to be loaded with what looked like thick plates. Having worked on design of freight car load restraints and equipment photo seemed to show a very heavy load. Glad you have the info and are loading cars realistically.

It did turn out looking like plates, didn't it? 

It's actually Evergreen H-columns, 0.100x0.100 inch, on edge, side-by-side,  The long beams on the bottom have two layers, with the flanges overlapped, while the two shorter layers are single.  12 long beams on the bottom, two layers of 6 short beams on top.  HHHHHH

I calculated most of my weights for half-inch thick steel, basing it on the beams used to build the framing for the plant where I work.  Evergreen's plastic shapes are nice, but still thicker than prototype shapes.

Thanks for the additional details. Surprising how quickly the weight adds up when trying to balance a load.
