We’re looking forward to the 28th National N Scale Convention in our home state of Tennessee. Hosted by N Scale Enthusiast in Nashville, the 2022 convention will be filled with fun activities surrounding our favorite hobby.

We'll be hosting a train ride in conjunction with the convention at the Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum (TVRM) in Chattanooga, Tennessee on Tuesday, June 14th. During this special event, we’ll be making our next all-new N Scale locomotive announcement and more. If you’re unable to join us for the train ride, we’ll be sending a special newsletter and posting to our Facebook Page around 12:00pm EST.

On Friday and Saturday, we'll be attending the convention's train show in Nashville so attendees can see and experience our N Scale models in person. We'll also be attending the convention’s dinner banquet Saturday evening with special giveaways. Additionally, we’re sponsoring the Manufacturer's Breakfast on Sunday morning where we’ll share more about our plans for N Scale.

Taking bets its a ES44AC, thought I could only hope for an AC4400CW.

Attempting to model a modern Southern Pacific based in 2015/2016...

Also, I have a passenger train addiction...

Given the previous releases, I'm going to say its a AC44C6M.  2nd guess would be the GP30/slug program they just rolled out in HO

Man, they acted real fast on my GP30 poll.

Hope springs eternal.

GP30s - and Bs - overlapped with both turbine models on the UP, albeit the 76 GP30s were acquired en masse to replace the standard and "veranda" fleets. IOW, it wouldn't look totally stupid to have a GP30 or several coupled to ST's wonderful models. Their turbines are by far the best runners on my layout, enough so to be my go-tos for visitors. Many of us know just how badly visitors can gum the works.

One concern I have would be their producing enough road numbers in each for a representative fleet. If they run the same numbers they did in HO, I'd be golden, albeit I still may have to renumber a few B's.

They had SD70MAC’s in the background of the recent coil car announcement.

Thinking SD45 or SD-40-2, but wouldn't be unhappy with an AC unit followed by some combo of numbers after.

I'm thinking it is a tunnel motor (SD40-2T most likely).

GP30’s would be very intriguing!  CBQ & UP would be cool!

Welllllll....I wish it would be a Veranda Turbine, but I have my doubts about that since they will probably do at least a couple of runs more of their Standard Turbines (I hope)....

Maybe a Scale Trains rendition of a GP-7/GP-9 with a GP-9 B-unit???  THAT would be GREAT!...and I'd love to see how they'd detail 'em out!

But, probably gonna be some modern sh!t.

Cheerio!

According to the ad in the NSC Magazine, they will be re-running the GTEL Big Blows.  I believe that all their UP turbine  locos have been sellouts. They will probably re-run the standard turbines too.

I would love to see a quality Tunnel Motor in N Scale.

My D&RGW pike would put them to good use.
A "western modeler" that also runs NS.
