-Yellow and Black are decals (Modelflex UP Armour Yellow for touch up)
-Red is Testors Modelmaster Caboose Red Flat
-Truck color on the A unit (I forgot to paint the sideframes on the B unit) is Tamyia Chrome Silver
-Black exhust weathering is Modelflex Flat Black
-Silver is Rust-Oleum Dull Aluminum out of a rattle can:  https://www.zoro.com/rust-oleum-spray-paint-dull-aluminum-gloss-12-oz-1614830/i/G2977886/?utm_source=google&utm_medium=surfaces&utm_campaign=shopping%20feed&utm_content=free%20google%20shopping%20clicks&gclid=EAIaIQobChMI5dO04p709wIV5h-tBh3VAgTUEAQYASABEgIGqfD_BwE

Everything sealed with Testors Dulcote (I still have a few bottles squirrled away in my supplies).

I really like this for Santa Fe Stainless Steel color - looks like the paint after it had been on the road a while.

Thanks for the info.  I like the look of that Dull Aluminum too.

I'm sorry Dave, I'm afraid I can't do that.

Exceptional paint and decal work, Nate! :o :o :o

It's not exceptional, but it's good enough for me.  Thank you; I'm glad you like it.  :)

The red really looks good in the photos and even better in person.

Last weekend was my dad's 92nd birthday and I gave him the layout I've been building for him.

Well, no major progress this weekend, but I did do some more background scenery in the Cornwall Bridge area and around the Canaan CT scene.
Here is some proof:

Excellent work everyone this weekend! I had a good time at the Ohio N Scale weekend in Columbus exhibiting my Hiles Tower layout. More photos on the layout build thread.

Jesse6669:  Is that one of the White Pass's new diesels in t he second picture?

Do you have a good picture of it?  This is the first I've seen.

Did a little weathering job for a customer this weekend.  Took a stock brass Key 3985 Challenger by Nakamura...all prettied up with white striping on the running boards, and turned it into the 3985 that worked various capacities in the late 1950's...

Photo (1) - Key 3985 Challenger after weathering EDIT: Reposted properly exposed photo:

It's sitting on Nate's @Nato Riverside section at his layout's new home.  What a huge change some weathering makes eh?  Brings out the details.

Anyway, was fun and brought me some gas money.

Cheerio!

Really nice Robert, but what’s the deal with the snowy look in the coal bunker?

Both of you are very lucky !

He gets a layout and you get watch him enjoy it.

I am envious, but very happy for you both!

Doug,

Where did you get the ship?

It appears to be the boat load and the wood bracing for a Western Pacific WP 2801 50' fishbelly flatcar from an N Scale Enthusiast Micro-Trains Line NSE 21-25 special run set.

A couple of fun things from this weeekend.

First, got backdrops up on Friday. Here's a Photoshop focus stacked image showing the possibilities that now exist.

Next up, working hard on the EL Scranton Division in July of 1975. If only little 1:87 Ed knew the trouble he was in for... but life was good switching auto racks with SD45s in Pocono Summit.

And then especially highballing through Moscow.
