Some long time Railwire members may recall seeing that "D.K.S." arch bridge kit. It is perfect for the scene I am modeling.
Really, really nice modeling.I don't think that was a DKS Production. It was done by Karin Snyder who went by *Alaska Railroader, perhaps?
Also, Eric, as you know, I really dig your layout. That bridge scene reminds me of a prototype Housatonic video I just saw.
fcnrwy23: I saw that same train on NS just south of Kenova today, working the westbound main.
Did a bit of weathering on a foob GS-4 (not deskirted, numberboards in the wrong place) for a bit of "might-have-been" for a customer a couple of weeks ago. Was a fun project, and just got the photos of it a few days ago. Next on the list is an old brass N-scale UP Challenger for the same customer.Photo (1) Kato GS-4 Foob Paint & Configuration, Weathered by Me...(Jared Sharp Photo):Used my stash of Polly Scale paints for it, shot out of one of my Paasche AB Turbo airbrushes, with some streaking done with a beat-up brush dipped in alcohol.Photo (2) GS-4 on John E. Rimmasch's Layout (John E. Rimmasch Photo):This is the heaviest I've every weathered a steam engine and I used a prototype color photo as my reference. SP liked 'em dirty! Cheerio!Bob Gilmore
