Well, the time has come.  Someone is finally doing the CSX Pride in Service units in N scale.  I myself am leery of BLI from the AC6000 decoder debacle among other issues they've had esp in N scale but these are 3 units I would like to get.  So might have to pull the trigger as my LHS has a really good pre-order price on them (-20%)

A few other fantasy schemes included as well

The latest run of paragon 4 locomotives run flawless. no loss of power or stutter at all. The SD40-2 have wire leads going to the trucks for improved performance.

I also hope they fixed very dim ditch lights as done on the SD70 ace.

The SP Daylight version they did on the AC6000CW in both HO and N are great looking. But the SP Black Widow version they are doing on the ES44AC in both scales with the American flag just looks tasteless to me. Yes I realize that the Black Widow is a  TrainWorld exclusive, same for the Santa Black Bonnet  :?, but I guess its kinda geared towards someone else. The flag is just too UP.
Attempting to model a modern Southern Pacific based in 2015/2016...

Also, I have a passenger train addiction...

I have no problem with fantasy schemes being produced, e.g., I kinda like the Union Pacific Two-Tone Gray scheme, but WTF is the Santa Fe Black Bonnet scheme?  :P

If the Santa Fe warbonnets were the correct color I would buy them. But not a "black bonnet".
And agree with the UP flag on an SP engine. Tasteless....
The bloody nose paint scheme would of been an instant reservation for me.

If the Santa Fe warbonnets were in the Super Fleet colors (silver and red with large lettering), even I'd be tempted to buy those.

Lionel apparently did the Black Bonnets across several locomotives. So there’s that I suppose.

This... 100%.... These fantasy schemes need to have some basis of reality..
I was helping Carol pick out these for her N scale order at Caboose Stop..
and we totally skipped over the prototypical schemes, and just chose from the fantasy schemes.. (With the thought.. FVM or Scale Trains would be a better choice)..
I think we got.. ATSF Zebra, GN, CN, and the UP TTG schemes...
They lost our sale on Black Bonnet and SP with a Flag..

The KCS one is not a fantasy scheme.  I'd have to put some serious work into rolling stock updates to acquire it however.

Santa Fe in Super Fleet or the 60's or 70's freight schemes would have been much better choices for a Santa Fe fantasy scheme than the black bonnet.  I'm sure the Espee guys are probably vomiting over the flag on the black widow scheme.  That would be like putting an NYC cigar band or lightning stripes over PRR DGLE.

I've got a set of decals to do that unit, but I've never got around to doing it. Maybe now I won't need them...

It looks like trainworld is behind these fantasy schemes, it must think there's a market for them. I doubt they'll sell many of the Santa Fe fantasy units. At least there may be some cheap ES44AC units on the market later on when they have to special them out  :D :D
I'm still shaking my head.........

I find it odd they're doing the "Blackbonnet" one but not a yellow one.

I agree about the SP scheme too, but then again, I generally think that anyone who's waving a flag around that much is generally trying to trick you into something.
