Sondtraxx Function mapping

lets get the basics out of the way. I have a MRC Prodigy Advance2, and I'm working with a Soundtraxx TSU-KN1 part of the Tsunami 2 line.
I have used Tsunamis in the past, and setting up Ditch lights was easy(ish) In a HO P42, the functions then to turn on Ditch lights were Fn. 5 and 6 and you could set it to have Fn. 6 turn on both lights.
Now its Fn. 24, 25 and I have to figure out the new method of changing functions...
I am so lost...
What is CV1.259/1.26? and how do I get to it?
or would it be easier to just have both ditchlights come on with the headlights?
So far, I have them working.


This is from a video they posted about setting up Alternating Ditchlights.
CV 51: FX3 Configuration (F24 by default)
CV 52: FX4 Configuration (F25 by default)

I have zero knowledge of this decoder, but the numbering scheme seems like they might be using indexed CVs.  This should be mentioned in the complete manual for the decoder.

To access an index register you first have to write the index values in an index CV (or CVs if it is a 2-dimensional index), then you access read/write the primary CV address.

If you were accessing this decoder through JMRI DecoderPro, it should take care of all this for you automatically.

@peteski Yeah I have no clue about Indexed CVs or where to even begin.
As far as JMRI goes, I don't have it or the ability to use it...

In that case, I still think that reading the Tsunami decoder manual should yield some answers about how to access those CVs.  If they have a short and long versions of the manual, I would look at the long (complete) version.  They should be downloadable from their website.

I would recommend using Decoder Pro when possible. My experience is that it makes programming a lot easier.
