Well....interesting....
The ARA (4 bay) cars painted for ATSF are labeled "fantasy" (they are), but what makes them really fantastical is that they chose to letter (per the images at the links) them as class "GA-23", which is an ore car, and gave it a number that I can't find assigned to any "GA" class, although my resource is not exhaustive on re-numberings.  Probably the closest ATSF option is the GA-24, which is  a 4-bay hopper built in 1929 to a Wine design.

The H2a (3 bay) ATSF version is worse- it is lettered and numbered as a GA-24, which is a 4 bay hopper.  Would make a lot more sense to letter and number them as GA-21, which was a 3 bay hopper built also in 1929.

As to why ATSF had two small lots of hopper (75 GA-21 and 50 GA-24) with similar capacity built to different designs at the same time, I have no idea.  20 GA-21s and all of the GA-24s were rebuilt during WWII as covered hoppers- using the radial roofs salvaged from rebuilding boxcars, with hatches added.  They helped handle the grain harvest in 1945, which is the first instance I know of using covered hoppers for grain.  Later on, they ended up moving a lot of sand and similar commodities.

I mean, all they had to do was write a polite email to the SFRH&MS for the correct info.  Or ask here.  Or check online photos. Or.....

On the boxcars, I already have a NYC set and a P&E car, but it is true that many of the USRA/ARA steel cars and rebuilds do resemble the NYC cars, and I might be in for one or two.

I have a mind like a steel trap...a VERY rusty, old steel trap.

They claim they are offering the boxcars in roads that had USRA boxcars, but I’m fairly certain New Haven did not have any.

I'll have to check these out.  The artwork looks like it has a 1946 date on with which will fit in my 1948-ish timeline.  I have a ton of 50-ton hoppers but few 70's.  These  along with the earlier run will be nice to mix things up a bit.

They did not. The only owners of USRA steel boxcars were New York Central (and subsidiaries), DL&W, Northhampton & Bath and Reading.

Interestingly the number series they chose for the New Haven cars (29xxx) is just below the 1937 aar cars they did own.
So even tho it is a complete fantasy someone at BLI put some thought into it...

I'm excited to get some C&O hoppers with the peaked ends to repaint into DSS&A and Soo Line.  :)

Another fantasy. Based on the CMO usra rebuilds.

The CNW 70xxx series was 43' il gondolas (in 1953 at least)

So they could have done Reading and been correct, but they didn't. Correct?

They are doing Reading, its hidden in the 1950s 4 packs.

I if they use their 7-8 Murphy end they are correct for the number series (100000-100499 had Murphy ends, other series has flat ends like on the 1923 ara cars)
I'm not sure BLI made the correct pressed steel roof for the Reading cars tho...

Ah well that is the other problem, I don't need the 3 other boxcars.

Didn’t MTL release an accurate model of the Reading prototype?

No, MTL used their 1923ara/x29 body. The main difference is the number of side panels (8 panels on the Reading/NYC cars vs 10 on the 1923ara cars).

The MTL car did have a pretty good representation of the Pressed steel roof and the proper ends for the majority of the fleet. (BLI ends are prototypical but not as common.)

Depending on how much you worry about the details the MTL car is definitely close. A kitbash between the two would be ideal.
