Ahh yes, the RhB's self-propelled rotary! At least, it can propel itself around the yard. As far as I know it's the only factory-built, self-propelled, steam rotary still in service.At the other extreme, there's BNSF 972554, class RSP38-2:Other than the GP38-2, and the rotary housing/blade, I have no idea what was used. Last I heard it was based in Wenatchee.
...I’m a little troubled by the choice the designer made in locating the middle window on the right hand side from the front.It appears the lowest part of the window would line up with the floor?

I have actually seen houses in the Midwest with that kind of window configuration. Usually there is mid level landing with a 90 degree turn in the staircase.
