Either Cascade Green or White should cover well, so you're probably right.

Green and Cream, I model 92-94 era

I haven't had any experience with BN's Cream, but would think it should cover as well as white.

Just was looking at Lowell Smith's site, looks like he did PRR 120 and CNW 400 also in his "Executive Line" Series, find it a bit odd that MTL would do the same cars again that was done as a special run before.

Maybe he's sold out, decided not to make a second run, and gave MTL permission to use the artwork?  If he doesn't plan another run, and has sold the first one, it won't hurt him.

Lowell Smith only does one run per car #. I feel I got burnt a bit buying all the LS Northern Pacific heavyweight cars and the MT released their cars substantially cheaper. I am a big fan of Lowell’s stuff, especially Rail Smith, but I would be hesitant to buy any heavyweight cars that MT could do in a regular release.

Don't know if Lowell has the same deal with MTL, but the standard agreement for a special run car by MTL has them ultimately owning the artwork and permits them to re-release any special run car themselves after a minimum six-month waiting period.

I would imagine that fact is in there as well. I know the car number was run by LS but I did not take the time to verify it was the exact same body.

From his site versus the MTL, the PRR car is the only one different as it has the 4 wheel trucks versus 6 wheels. But otherwise I feel the same as you about being burned.

I know Lowell does small runs, so maybe they were really popular and he had lots of request for additional cars, so if that were the case, it would make sense about MTL doing them also.
