MTL Single Window Coach Balloon Roof

I cannot recall if anyone has designed a balloon/arch roof for the MTL single window coach, but has/does anyone?

I'm going to use a few of the cars to redo the Preambles for the American Freedom Train

If you could check to see if the paired window roof is identical to the single window coach (which I do not own one) to see if the catch tabs and length are identical that would help as I already have one for the paired window coach.

Unfortunately, while the length is the same (maybe +/- a scale inch), and the end profiles are likewise very close if not identical, the tabs do not line up.

In addition to the tabs not aligning, the single window has one more tab on each side.  This leads me to think it is an improvement to keep the roof better secured and/or to address some other issue.

I turned a clerestory roof into an arch roof on an MT RPO by filling the clerestory in with multiple strips of styrene. I started by carving and filing away the existing vents and other rooftop details and then glued in multiple strips of styrene until the roof profile was roughly rounded out. I did it over several days to make sure the glue was fully dry on each ‘layer’ before adding more strips. The ends need extra filler bits to account for the curves, but when the profile was roughly filled I filed and sanded it into the right profile (with some filler putty). But that was one (shorter) car…

@Ike the BN Freak , (or another volunteer in the US) If you can mail the single window roof to me, I can create a roof very quickly. I have no need of a single window coach, so I don’t want to purchase an entire car.

I'd assume you'd just need the body shell correct?
