Thank you, My RR isn't priority here. I'm a professional model builder and busy all the time so it comes easy to me after doing it for 55 years. Mostly ship models on commission and brass propellers for other ship modelers but I like to do the occasional rail equipment of custom engine. If I could get Lemonstream to make a Reading Crusader shell.

Whale belly cement cars.  I finished a few months ago three of the whale belly cement cars by Kaslo. I found them an interesting build and pretty easy to complete. It took about an hour each.  I used Poly Scale camouflage gray for the main color. I really didn't do much weathering at all. Perhaps later i'll dirty them up some.  MT body mount couplers and roller bearing trucks are purchased separately.
The cars all track very well and it doesn't matter where i place them in a 36 car train they seem to ride along nice. I may make a few more down the road sometime.

Those look great -- I only hope my attempt will be as good ..

Very cool!  Is the whole layout dedicated to coal operations?
Yes.  Here is an old and thankfully short video of how modern coal is loaded and dumped on the same layout:

it would help me get others to watch it if you could cut it to maybe a little under 10 minutes.
Yeah, I'm working on a five-minute version.
