2022 Amherst Railway Society Railroad Hobby Show

Looks like the show is on, along with NTRAK Winterfest!  Depending on the pandemic situation and people's comfort zone, it may turn out to be a big one since last year's show was virtual.  I see from the Exhibitor's list there will be a few new vendors.  Good to see that.

Who's going?  I plan to be there.

Vendor tables are almost sold out last time I got an update, so it should be a packed house.  I'll be in Mallary in the same great location as two years ago, across the aisle from Atlas.

I'm planning on being there with the NE-NTRAK group both days, causing mayhem and confusion.   :D

Umm... No Atlas? They're not listed in the directory of paid exhibitors, although there is a large group of tables shown.
Buffering...

As of now, no Atlas.  Covid concerns.

It seems Rapido also (silently?) dropped out? I no longer see them on the list.  :(

Someone needs to organize a a TRW group photo.  Normally I'd deputize @peteski, but I hear he has so many projects he might not get to it until 2025

In all seriousness I hope we get a ton of photos of everyone's smiling faces, even if they are masked up!

I will be there with my big camera as always but in the past it's very hard to organize a group photo.  One year there was a "meet there at X pm" and very few people showed.  The show is so big and busy with things to do that people just forget.

I've had better luck at smaller venues like Altoona or Atlantic City.

EDIT: But if someone can do the organizing I can provide the camera/service.

LOL, that is so true.

Like Rapdo (and Atlas?) I also dropped out.  With the current state of COVID, I decided that two days of fun were not worth the risk, especially since I'm the sole caregiver to my home-bound mom.  But trust me, I did not make that decision lightly - I was really itching to go.

RailSmith just announced they won't be at the show.  Both have been sick, but Lowell says it's not Covid.
