Yes, what Bryan said!  Wow!
Smooth running too. I also like the tablecloth ground cover and porcelain plates structures.   Are you a single guy, or have very understanding wife?  :D Again, WOW!!

Thank you.
What started as a simple test loop of Unitrack multiplied and took over my dining room table. My stepdaughter is getting ready to move and furnish her own house so right now my place resembles a warehouse.

Great work Jim; have been following this with interest and great to see it finished.

I would like to build this version owned by the British Columbia Railway:

Great photos Tim.

Lots of cool details. I love the winter hatch on the side.
That one is a bit more modern but looks very doable using the same or similar approach as mine.
The carbody looks longer on that one and is farther ahead on the chassis. Maybe it’s just the extra counterweight. The roof is higher all one level which would give more interior space as well. There may be enough room to face the motor rearward and use a traditional approach with a geared truck and worm.
With all the 3D printing going on I think this would be an excellent prototype to design.

Yes I suspect someone could likely do a good job rendering the cab.  I found a drawing online which is fairly close, and have a few more photos.

And look at the track it’s sitting on… It looks like 3 foot tie spacing in some spots.

Thank you Lucas!

The boom tender flatcar is coming along nicely. When that’s done I’ll try to get a worthwhile photo of it all together.
