The location of the station and street are more or less like the prototype.

Talking of the station...
That building above is from the old layout. I know it is far from the original. As I try to use what's available I use this one because I haven't found a depot more like this one:

Looking good! Nice progress all around. The depot looks like a good candidate for a scrathbuild 8)

That's my plan!

The second endcap (the left one) is ready as well. Nothing more to see, just like the first endcap.
Next up is the main straight module. 'Main' because this is the one with the wires for the power from the control.

The first test fit...  :scared: It works...

Thomas  :)

Hey Thomas I know these are ttrak module kits but what are your inter-module electrical connectors. It’s so clean I like it. It is a male to female type connector?
This is a really great looking build by the way.

Thank you Tim.

I used the connectors which are recommended on this ttrak wiki: http://ttrak.wikidot.com/t-trak-z
The Anderson Powerpoles are 'universal', no male or female. They work in both directions.
I decided to have the plugs in these snap-in receptacles on the left side. On the right side they are not fixed.

Awesome, where does one get the receptacle for the power poles? I've never seen them before.

I bought them at this online shop: https://shop.funk24.net/powerpole/pp15-pp45-serie/

They have quite a range of different housings and I'm sure you can get this in the US as well as this is an US company (I think).

I used a piece of brass sheet to hold the housing in the opening of the module.

Not much happened the last few days.
I raised the buildings so that the box car can enter the building.

I see what you did there.  ;)

There's a prototype for everything.
If you can't make it perfect, make it adjustable.
DCC is not plug-n-play.

This is the finished house from the pictures above.

These are really nice kits from Archistories ( https://www.archistories.com/ ) which can be build in a lot of different variations.
They are made from coloured cardboard, so no need to paint anything. Of course you can if you like.
I have another one on the 'workbench' but first I need to build something simple. There are N scale kits with fewer parts....
