Good Morning i purchase these and the mounting pins are to large. I see where several others have also. I was wondering how you are making up the difference in mounting holes?

I have glued a Plastruct / Evergreen plastic dowel in the bolster hole and redrilled it after the Plasticweld glue set (on other brands).
I couldnt find a suitable hollow rod of correct dimensions… and I think I had to drill the bolster hole to match the dowel too. Good luck.

These seem to be HO:

https://www.eve-modeler.com/products/evemodel-hp0787-12pcs-model-trains-ho-scale-horn-coupler-hook-20mm-e-z-mate-magnetic-knuckle-couplers-for-freight-car-trains-railroad-new

Looks like a decent quality product, but a sketchy web site.   And FWIW, I'm not really sure what the OP's question is...  Which mounting pin exactly? :?

H0?  I guess that is why the N and Z modelers are not familiar with it.  I suspect the question is probably about the pivot post. I would have expected it to fit a typical H0 scale coupler box.

Well aren't the N scale couplers like that usually huge?

They are sold and listed as nscale, the wheels and axle distance is nscale. the bolster holes are to big in diameter and normal mt bolster slip right through.

Where are they "sold and listed as nscale"? If so, the seller is wrong, they are for HO models and sold as cheap clones of Kadee couplers.

They make an N scale Accumate clone... I only seen them sold with trucks tho.

Their ebay store is linked to here every now and again.

The seller is on eBay.  They also sell a dozen styles of streetlights, scenery supplies, cheap buildings, etc. plus all manner of non-train items from high volume Chinese suppliers.
I think what the OP is talking about may be these- or something similar (I did not find any listing today for just the couplers)-

Ah. Thanks for the refresher, now I recall earlier mention. My edu-guess, then, is our OP ordered separate "Evemodel couplers" assuming they were the N version based on the listings for the trucks. They didn't notice that all of the listings for just couplers clearly say "1:87" in the header. Like I said, they're cheap clones - as is everything Evemodel offers - of Kadee HO couplers. I do recall somebody here trying the trucks with complaints of poor performance.

[Side note: Color me confused about @oldscout . According to their account info, they signed up for TRW over eight years ago, yet this is their very first posting. A belated "welcome" is in order, I guess.]

Mike,
I took it from the OP's second post ( 5 up from here) with mention of axle spacing and bolster holes that trucks were also in the mix.

@oldscout - what brand and type of cars are you trying to mount these to?  I'm guessing that most of us have never used the evemodel trucks/couplers, but many of us have replaced trucks and couplers on a wide variety of equipment- often requiring alterations of the cars.  The recommendations made by @sp org div in the second post will work for many of these situations, but specifics on what you are working with might help us make better suggestions.

During my quest to find Accumate couplers I stumbled upon these and took a chance.  They would not couple with one another (without holding one "bogie" stationary) let alone with an Accumate.  Tossed them into the trash and chalked the episode up to experience.

These are the ones pictured, both truck with couplers, I have been trying to install them on Atlas grain cars to start. The bolster pin from the old trucks just slip right through. I have lots of mt bolster pins that do the same thing.
