Markings on a NH H15-44 old paint scheme

From what I can tell there wasn't much along the sides. The name on the hood, the logo and number and classification on the cab. And a builders plate. Photos I've seen of the of paint scheme are usually so dirty I can't see anything of data or  safety slogans along the sill frame.  I've got the trainweb color drawings and that's all they show. Is that it?

It would be interesting to see a photo of a NH H15-44.

H15 and H16 looked alike. The NH had only 10 of this type, so not many were photographed, and photos of them in the McGinnis scheme don't help me. Atlas made a H16-44 but the NH version has a different configuration along the walkway, with the "hump" halfway between the cab and the nose. I didn't modify the Atlas to match, tho it's probably possible.
Since the NH bought both the 4-axle and 6-axle versions of the H16-44, calling up photos of that model bring up both types. Most of the online photos are of the bigger loco.

Likewise, it would be interesting to see a prototype photo of a 6-axle version of the H16-44 in NH livery.

I think you might be confused... There were no 6 axle h-16-44s.

There was the h-16-66 "baby trainmaster" but besides a couple industrial owners they were owned by CNW and Milwaukee.

With the exception of some A1A passenger units, New Haven didn't run any 6 axle units.

I would love to see the pictures you speak of...

Agreed. NH did have an order placed for FM Trainmasters but it was canceled due to financial reasons.
