I use Naphtha all the time on most plastics. The only negative effect I noticed is that after some rubbing, it slightly fogged clear polystyrene. But is it safe for all the slippery engineering plastics. Ronsonol Lighter Fluid (Naphtha) comes in a plastic container.Rubbermaid flexible containers are usually made from #5, or 1 or 2 plastics which should be safe with Naphtha. Check the recycling symbol. Whatever container you use, make sure it can be closed tight as Naphtha will evaporate. And vapors are flammable.
According to the chemical compatibility bible, you want LDPE or PVC.https://www.coleparmer.com/chemical-resistance
