RGS Goose 5 rattles through a cattle guard at Jays, three miles outside of Ridgway, CO with Log Hill Mesa looming in the background:

Leaving Ridgway:

I've been adding lineside details like switch stands:

And lastly, another cover shot (that makes 3 for me!):

The MBTA thread a few weeks ago inspired me to start work on the FP10 that was sitting in my "someday" box for almost 10 years.

I made new roof grates that line up correctly. The piping on the roof could use a bit of help though. I had to use phosphor bronze wire as I couldn't find brass rod at the correct width. I think it would have come out more straight with brass.

The plastic styrene rod was replaced with turned aluminum which will allow for working marker lights.

The louvers were replaced with Farr grating as per prototype. These came out better then expected.

The rear end was modified and reverse lights added. These will not be powered because these engines would not run without cars unless it's being shopped.

Tamiya body putty made quick work or removing all the gouging and scores the body had from my previous attempt at building the model.

Nice photos Dave!  And you know you're a Coloradan when you get the color of sage correct on your model RR.  :)

Oh, well, that’s not nearly as impressive, eh?

Any chance of purchasing a few of those SD60i cabs?

Yes there is. I just need to do some fitment tests before I am comfortable with selling any.

I finally sat down and got a couple projects painted, including Sandy Creek. With decals applied it's turning out to look pretty sharp.
