I agree, but for the most part, at least they picked roads that had electrics and not Santa Fe, Rio Grande, etc.

Yeah I looked after I posted, N scale supply listed them as a new release, but it looks like they added these to the first run..

The NYC doesn't make sense since NYC didn't have any box cabs (without platforms)..
GN and MILW make sense since they sort of resemble a GN Z1 and MILW E57

PC would have been a good addition.. and if your going to do Conrail and GN is acceptable, then why not Burlington Northern.

And what about Virginian like an EL1?  I know it's all complete B.S. but PRR fans should have no room to complain.. They get a prototype electric..

reinhardtjh:  Thank you!  I went back and looked and, yes, the first ones announced haven't come in yet.  So, no, no one has one to measure!

Including BLI, apparently.  I asked them directly.  In reply, they sent two photos of their HO version, with a ruler for scale.  Based on that, and assuming the N scale version is a direct reduction, the maximum wire height will be about 23 feet.  Probably fine for the PRR, and for those using commercial catenary systems, but too low for me.

I also asked about the wheels, since they say they will run on code 55 and 70.  They will have RP-25 wheels, so should run on code 40 flextrak, but BLI doesn't have any to test their locos on.  For the PRR/Conrail modelers I suspect that C40 would be too small, appearance-wise, anyway.
