That website kind of sucks despite the content. Here is a video of it:

Seen his work before.  He addresses all the visual limitations of a 2' X 4' layout in a space of less than 2' X 4'.

Great little layout, plus a well-done step-by-step.

Now I kinda want to build this.  Or two:

1) Depression-era Arizona mining operation or
2) Penn Central/early CR 70s Northeast urban decay.

Let me finish my current N scale project first though!

Watching that video makes me want to build it too. But… I have a few ttrak modules that I need to finish and I want to build a couple of extension modules to my n scale Interstate RR first.

Not to take away from the op but here is another small layout that really peaks my interest. I remember finding the video when I first got back into modeling and seriously thought about the C&NW.

#2 can be generic enough for some late Pennsy..., maybe some Delaware Avenue or Washington Street?

Very nice! Does my heart good to see so much C&NW yellow and green. Was there an overall track plan of that layout posted anywhere?

I have a pdf of it somewhere. It was in one of the magazines but I don’t remember which one or what year. Pm me your email and I’ll dig it out and send it to you.
