Not sure what's being depicted in the header.

I believe the homeowner is depicting visually how much of her house is on CNR right-of-way (ROW). This happens all the time in eastern Kentucky with mobile homes on Kentucky Transportation Cabinet Highway ROW.
Modeling the C&O in Kentucky.

Adverse possession!  But, God forbid there's a derailment next to your house.

On to some modeling and, "Whoops!  There goes another warranty!"  Because I found quite possibly the last available Bowser HO Scale Norfolk Southern Ry. AS-416 online at a shop in South Carolina, I had to buy it with Tsunami DCC and sound.  I replaced this decoder with an ESU LokSound decoder to be more compatible with the rest of my fleet and my ESU DCC system.

This Norfolk Southern Ry. AS-416 represents the original owner of the branchline on my layout.  Depending on the era due to a merger and an acquisition, I can run original NS Ry. (up to 1974), Southern Ry. (1974-1986), or Aberdeen, Carolina & Western Ry. (1986+).  I now have one locomotive for each of these eras.  This Baldwin and its paint scheme are unlike anything else on my layout.  I love it!

Not only did the seismic activity not buckle the rails, but it totally disintegrated whole sections of track without trace! Very potent activity indeed in southern Minnesota!

Lol, I am sure once you have it put back together no one will even be able to tell you had to cut it apart!

Pretty much finished on a new design Budd Cab Car, but need to go heavier on the weathering to simulate washed sides and dirty roof. I designed the shells and 3D printed them on a Form 3 with chassis donors from the Kato CNW 400 set. I'll have the model(s) at STL RPM if any of y'all are going!

Some serious abduction going on there.  Would you like to come give a talk at the next meeting of the regional emergency managers meeting here in Portland?
