No technical discussions or photos of wonderful stuff!!
Is there another platform this most interesting discussion has moved to?

Dunno. I'll contribute. Spent 4 days trying to get this to print.Still detailing it.  Now I'm experimenting on how to optimize printing it before I throw it up on Thingiverse.

I've been mostly lurking, but here's my latest.  N scale of local iconic diner, Willie's Weenie Wagon. It's for my layout centered on Brunswick, Ga.

I'm toying with idea of making it available as a kit, but not sure.

Only if you can accurately duplicate the overall building footprint and those unusual roof lines and angles of the original structure. That is the main thing interesting or unusual for the structure. Otherwise it is just a box.

Do they make proper hot dogs?  (Chicago Style!!!). The sign looks like it might be....at least it has mustard on it (putting ketchup on a hot dog in Chicago used to be illegal...but the way things are going there who knows now....

And what's wrong with some ketchup?  It adds some more flavor to that pink-slime natural-casing tubesteak.  :D  On my dogs I like mustard (brown please, none of that baby-$hit yellow stuff), ketchup, then I can go with sauerkraut, chopped onions, and if available chopped sweet cabbage.  I can even go for a chili-dog (no cheese of any kind, please). And no sweet-relish - it makes me gag.

My GF likes to also sprinkle some celery salt on her dog. I think it might be a Canadian thing. Or maybe a New Hampshire thing.

They have good dogs, but interestingly enough, their "World Famous Pork Chop Sandwich " is what most of the locals go for.

Well, I'd say the printer is the Wizard in this game.  I just connect shapes in TinkerCAD, hit print, and out pop miracles that were previously impossible, or insanely impractical to produce multiples of.  My latest project is an upgrade for a well car set that I'll post more about in the Weekend Update:

Well, I'm new on here, but I thought I'd share the work I have been doing: https://www.instagram.com/up__1995/

Custom freight cars, detail parts, and more. I model N, so most of my 3D prints to date are in N scale. However, much of the CAD work I have created can be adapted to suit other scales.

My largest projects right now are a N military equipment consist with custom flatcars and loads, as well as a military ammunitions train consist with custom containers and flatcars.
