Kato have a model of the 800s due very soon.  I expect the build quality will be better...

Obviously not a good thing that these parts are cracking while in-service.

But, kudos to the process and people involved in the inspections - finding those cracks before they cause accidents is definitely a "win" for the teams doing that important work.  Better than finding them "the hard way" when some unexpected part breakage kills people while tearing up infrastructure.  Even less disruptive to find them this way.

Hitachi trainsets were built 2014 - 18 and they are talking metal fatigue.
