Is it just me, or does the brake rigging look weird?

Are there any vendors in the US or Canada that get stock from PWRS? I'd like a couple of these but I also don't want to deal with PWRS ordering system...

He does have an eBay Canada page (https://www.ebay.com/sch/Freight-Cars/69814/m.html?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEFSXS%3AMESOI&_ssn=jeffa2582&_dcat=69814&Brand=InterMountain&_trksid=p2046732.m1684) but these have not hit there yet.

Might be some “interpretation” going on there. The handbrake rigging has that big jog in it, which I would question. They’ve also included the bleed rods (cool) but it looks like they’re made out of 2” pipe, and they normally connect directly to the center portion of the triple valve.

Thats not PWRS... That is Jeff aka Prairie Shaddows in Winnipeg... Great guy to deal with!

AFAIK the PWRS cars he sells are older and came direct from intermountain not from Dan....

I was about to say the exact same thing... there's also seems to be a number of rods ommited...

That picture even made my girlfriend recoil in disgust.

You know about the real one though, right?

There's a few CNW ones on Ebay if you're looking for one/some and want to avoid the "Porters" thing.  https://ebay.to/3fMR91L

There doesn't seem to be a mention of PWRS on the packaging unless it's on the bottom. The actual brand name is North American Railcar

Here's the RBOX version.  The small 't' in the logo is incorrect, and there's no ACI label.  I think the arrows logo looks better than the HO cars.

Oops, apparently they are also upside-down.

OK so they look good enough as far as the actual plastic is concerned. Since none of the road names are what I was looking for the mistakes there are not a bother. So I am going to wait and see what happens with these. If they don't sell them because of the paint issues then there is a chance that they will discount them and then it becomes an easier buy when I have to strip and repaint for what I want. If they do sell well there should be a 2nd run at some point and maybe I will get lucky(I have asked for my preferred road name a number of times) and they will offer a SOU painted version. Either way works for me and since my layout is just a staging level at the moment, I am not dying for more rolling stock right now. This is what I would like to have:
