I wonder how @Kevin C  is doing? He hasn't visited the forum since mid-April.  I hope all is well with him and the train shop.

Hello. I am here. :). I have been visiting the forum as a guest on numerous occasions to keep up with the news.

The shop has been very quiet since I last posted and this was due to the fact that I could not order new stock because of technicalities with the application for the Texas Sales Tax Certificate. This issue was recently resolved so now the suppliers are happy to fulfill my orders.

I received my first new order last week that comprised primarily of Kato Locomotives, Kato Unitrack and Jacksonville Terminal Company Containers and equipment. I have a second order on the way which includes some Atlas SD60 locomotives and Atlas freight cars. In addition my application to become a dealer for Walthers was approved this week so I will be placing an order with them on the weekend that will include some of their Cornerstone Building Kits.

I am also still busy with the re-modelling of my store. One of the tasks that is occupying much of my time are the shelves for the freight and passenger car display. I am laser cutting these shelves from wood, assembling them and painting them. Once complete, the wall that is approximately 20ft long will have over 600 freight cars on display. I have included an image in this post.

I intend to start with the building of my new layout soon. It will be a continuation of the thread that is already on this forum as the location and era are still the same.

I will post further images of the shop when it is nearly complete and new images of my layout when I start to build it.

Just placed my first order with N Scale Warehouse, found some CN wedge plows that I missed when first released, then couldn't find anywhere. Once in the cart they came up at a lower price due to a 'Moving Sale', so I made the mistake of looking at some other items and, well, the order grew fivefold

Forgot to update here, got my order from N Scale Warehouse in a few days and am happy with my experience; fast shipping, no hassles. Will definitely keep them in mind for future purchases.
