Yeah, but at this point, why even make it a magazine and go through the hassle of forcing digital content into a print paradigm.

If he wants to go virtual, just go virtual. Build a WordPress site and post articles.

Because this way those of us who still like print can at least have everything in a single file, on our device, viewable whenever we like.

On WordPress we'd have to open or download multiple articles, and even then there's a limited number of ways to save text and pictures in the same file easily.  I could do it, but a lot of older readers wouldn't know how, or want to go through the hassle.  I don't want to go through the hassle!

I'm with TimF.  I'm still getting the magazine, so won't worry about a refund.  I prefer reading paper, but will admit the digital version is a lot easier to store.

Kirk posted this on the FaceBook page at the beginning of March

In mid February I started to experiment to find the most efficient way to process the unfullfilled subscriptions. Domestic comes first and the foreign subs will have to be handled a different way.  I ended up getting just under 500 in the mail but a surprising number haven't been cashed or deposited yet. If more than 500 clear in a month, I get charged a pretty steep rate for every additional check that clears.
I have the next ~450 processed and stamped and will get what I can into the mail on Thursday.... but please cash or deposit the checks so I can send more out.

I think I officially start in March. I just reconciled February's General and only ~150 were deposited... hopefuilly a lot more will come through in March. The goal will be ~480 per month... they penalize for more than 500.

If you decide not to cash the check, you may want to drop a note to Kirk and let him know so his planning stays on track.  Or if you are going to cash the check, do so as soon as possible and don't let it linger as that may throw off his plans as well.
