I tried it.  All I get is the main page, with the description of the site.  No links or any other way to go beyond that page.

When I checked the source code, I found the links.  Trying to enter them manually, "browse" gave me a blank page.  "about" locked up the browser, and, judging from the memory use shown in Task Manager, apparently tried to download the entire internet.  I finally killed it through Task Manager.

After restarting my browser, I retried manually entering the "browse" link and got "New to SmugMug? Start a free 14-day trial."

No thank you.  I'll do without.

Agreed. An amazing reference.

Most interesting thing for me personally was the UP 90-ton ore jennie, the first picture I have seen of the ORE-90-1 class. It finally confirmed a closer prototype to the old Atlas (now Trainman line) 70-ton gon - of which I have 120 or so as stand-ins    . UP's 70-ton jennies were similar to the Atlas car, but different enough to be... uh... different. They were different enough to consider drawing one up for 3D printing. With the new confirmation I can mark that project off the list for a while and not feel too guilty.

Nope.  That page works fine, but clicking on the link takes me to the same page as the original link, with the same results.  There is no way I can get into the collection.

The other links on the Pullman Library page work fine.  But apparently Smugmug simply will not work with my browser, and trying to access it locks up the browser.

I finally Googled the problem, and found Smugmugs "supported browser" page.  It seems that I'm out of luck, as my OS, browser, Adobe Flash, and multiple other items are "not supported", do to being too old.  Oh well. 

I just love web designers that feel that the user should adapt to their website, and the website doesn't need to be backwards-compatible with older systems.  One advantage of books.  They can be read as long as someone knows the language.  5,000 year old clay tablets can still be read!

Thanks for posting that link.  It works fine for me with Windows 10 and a Chrome browser.

Some of the pictures are amazing, allowing zoom-in while still retaining sharp focus and details.

Man, you have NO idea how difficult (read: expensive) that is. There is a significant law of diminishing returns as things age too.

As long as it's HTML5, it should work with any browser from the last 10 years or so.

But my gripe is the designers that DESIGN their site to work with only the latest browsers.  And, yes, I've hit a few.  "We see you are using "Browser version x.x".  If you want to use our site, upgrade to at least "version y.y", as your version is too old, and we won't allow it to access our site."

I really have gotten messages just like that!  It isn't that the site CAN'T work with an old browser, the owners won't LET it!

I've seen other people say it will not open for them. And today while on my phone I couldn't open it. A message popped up that the site wouldn't work with my browser. I also use Chrome on my phone, but on the phone it's an old a$$ version.
