Fox Valley Models?

Does anyone know if FVM is still active, or just selling off what's in the warehouse?  The latest news on their website is from 2018, and I don't remember seeing any new announcements or arrivals for at least a year.

New site is shopfvm.com

He's done some recent stuff, most of their announcements are via their Facebook page, he also post sales and such on it.

I got some old Deluxe tooled 48' containers from there recently

We should start a write in campaign to get him to update his website to forward you to ShopFVM.com

It took me at least a year to realize he started a new website...

I'm also not a fan of companies moving to FB for doing business/announcements.  :| While not yet, I guess at sometime we will all be assimilated. But I'm still kicking and screaming!  :x

I doubt that FaceBook will be the platform, if what you predict becomes true.  The younger generation has moved on from FaceBook.  Also, as an old fart, I'm still on FaceBook, but only for family and close friends.  I do not generally shop or surf the net there, so I don't see many more of the FaceBook business/announcements than you do.  Any business that only is advertising there is not getting as much exposure as they may think.  Use it as a supplement to your advertising, sure, but I wouldn't rely solely on FaceBook, if I were in retail.

The "younger generation" isn't modeling trains either.  The reach on FB is fairly extensive.

Ah-Hem.. isnt the 'Gram owned by Facebook?...

And I'm just saying link the old site to the news site... (nevermind Facebook)

FVM may serve themselves well to move over to Youtube..

FB sucks, but not totally. I've been to websites trying to ask questions and couldn't get the dang thing to work. Then I look them up on FB and message them for a pretty much instant response.

Yes no question the younger generation is nearly absent from Facebook. Life in the digital age moves fast. TikTok, Snapchat and YouTube are currently the primary media platforms for the younger generation.

YouTube has become my primary source for product information, mainly through amateurs doing v-logs.

I just looked today, 100 packs of 28" with .540" axles, and narrow and wide packs of 36" with resistors of the same axle length, the rest were all odd lengths

Thank you!  Like others, I had no idea he had a new site.

Unfortunately, all of the wheels I need are unavailable...
