These are back in stock on Amazon while I'm still waiting for a shipping e-mail from Phrozen.

Not impressed with Phrozen as a company at all. In fact might be the worst customer service out of all of them. Anycubics “famed bad” customer service is exquisite compared to Phrozen.

I can’t seem to add images inline anymore. Says my upload folder if full? Anyone know why?

So this happened last night. So solid. It’s just dry fit right now while I figure out how to attach the the build plate arm.

To be fair when I bought my second Photon and had problems with it I couldn't get a hold of Anycubic at all. Their website didn't work at all and messaging them on FB didn't get anywhere.

I started with a Photon and experienced much the same thing. Add in the language barrier and 12 hour time lag...

I've got 2 Epax X1s now. Their support is excellent and being US based makes a big difference in communications. I really want to get one of the larger printers, (not neccesarily Epax) but just can't pull the trigger right now.

I'm using Elegoo grey (standard)/Siraya Blu (original) - mixed together ...

In case I missed it, is that mixture 50% of each?

Yes 50/50 is a good start.

I thank my lucky stars that my Photon has been OK since Day 1.

The Sonic Mini-4K is now in pieces here in my office while I decide how to proceed with "upgrades".

Disassembly was pretty easy, though I still haven't figured out how to remove the protective glass sheet that's under the LCD screen yet.  It's glued in pretty tight.

I want to remove it so that I can install a thinner piece, which will allow me to recess the LCD deeper so it's roughly flush with the top of the base plate, just like my Photon.

Thanks. :)  I haven't been following new developments very closely but knew the day would come when resin performance characteristics could catch up with the detail and we may finally be in that acceptable window. I just ordered some of these new resins to try out on some peripheral devices specifically intended for my turnout project.  If it performs as these remarks and further research suggests, I may finally have the performance I have sought for these devices but also many more of my projects.  I've been close and even reluctantly willing to compromise the durability of some items for the sake of detail but maybe, hopefully, these resins will finally give me the level of detail desired with the durability.  This has been an interesting thread to follow on several levels. 8)

Jeff I've just left it alone (and in place) while I do the various additions to my machine. I attempted to remove it but it's not really necessary. Just be very careful!

Hey glad you’re going to get yours soon. It will be nice to have someone to commiserate with. Your parts are the same parts as mine from what the online posts show.

Good news though.
I am here with the modifications and can confirm that this fixes any issues in the z-axis movement.

So curious, beyond just the printer, how much was spent improving it?

Rails from Simon Jackson are ~$100 other than time and the $9 in aluminum for the bottom bracing thats it.

So do you think the bases are cracking from the plate flexing?

Phrozen put this up on their FB page
