I agree on both accounts.  Printed trees are too light/bright thus creating a distracting contrast.  Size you might be able to get away with but since you are darkening, might as well fix that too.

The real issue is that the value of the background trees doesn't match up with the foreground ones.

But I've got a plan... Adjust the opacity of the currently 14% white layer I overlayed over the original in Photoshop.

Or maybe play around with a subtle gradient too.

This is why I got my own printer so I can iterate like this.

The size of the trees are looking good to me. I think there will be no right or wrong about the brightness or darkness. The light changes every now and then, there is sunshine, there is shitty weather and so on.
If you like it, it is fine.

I’d say the back ground trees look too dominating compared to the foreground ones, maybe scale it down 15% to 25%. The light shading you’re using really works well, and I love the idea of using a gradient to fade off the tone and contrasts, especially at top of the trees.

Plant a couple trees on the module with white trunks and see how it looks then. Too much contrast right now.

So... backdrop attached and sliced in half. More trees planted. Frame and fascia painted.

It's ready to go if I do nothing else to it (which I still plan on though).

What's the depth of the modules? It looks like there is more space in the front of the tracks than normal.

They're 16", and yep, I added it all in the front to get rid of the "strip of death".

How true. Compared to Z TTrak there is much less space in front of the tracks according to the standard.
N = 38mm
Z = 76 mm

Well... those folks can go get tilted then. It's one of the reason most of my TTRAK display time is done around informal stuff.
