Nope!

I've been making my modules deeper (both in front and back) for ages.

As long as it's shallower than a standard corner, I think you'll be fine.

If it's deeper, then you might want to shift the mains back so the extra space is in the front.

Not going to lie, spent about 20 minutes on those boards. I'm not sure if I regret anything it either.

Even though it is technically staging, I couldn’t leave it barebones as shown in the 11/29/20 Weekend Update. After all, it is what you first see when ascending the stairs into the loft.

This area adjoins the full train staging (also mildly sceniced) and gives me a holding area for trains terminating in the 3 branches emanating from Woodbury Junction. The cars destined for Deepwater, Salem, and Millville (off-line industries) will stay here for a cycle before reappearing on the layout.

As long as you don’t look too closely, it works.

OldEastRR:  A lot of railroads have had end ramps at team tracks as far back as the early 19th century.  Before cars and trucks, wagons, carriages, and stagecoaches were delivered by rail.

Ok, PLEASE tell me you can upload sounds?
I can send you a bunch of clipped up sounds from the George Carlin remixes. Case in point: http://railfanning.kapuscinski.net/soundboard/?c=b400

Unfortunately these are LokPilot decoders. LokSound decoders (not to mention the speakers) would not fit inside either engine (we put some LokSound 58823 decoders next to them for size comparison, they were about 2/3 the size of the engine!). Due to the way the Thomas & Percy are constructed, in order to install a LokSound decoder you would need to either remove or mill the weight, which, on an engine that small, is not optimal.

Though with Thomas you could probably get away with putting the speaker in Anne or Clarabelle.

Didn't see Peteski's post lol

More or less finished the Owing's Mills station today. I think I might be getting addicted to these wooden kits!

Wait until you get a few in and start changing things.
This was designed as a kit of a UP prototype that I completely changed the lower portion of to more reflect a relatively close proximity of a Milwaukee depot.
I've built dozens of Craftsman kits since I've been between layouts but few have been as directed.
