I thought that the FT was no longer in production due to supply issues. Did they source new drive components or just using old supply?
There's a shyness found in reason
Apprehensive influence swallow away
You seem to feel abysmal take it
Then you're careful grace for sure
Kinda like the way you're breathing
Kinda like the way you keep looking away

We have a number held for special runs and sets like this.  Not sure what or when a proto release will be available at the moment.

That Celanese 3 dome is interesting. There is/was a large Celanese operation in southwest Virginia - gotta do some homework to see how long this 3 dome lasted in service. :D

EDIT: Tangent did this same number in HO: https://www.tangentscalemodels.com/product/sold-gatx-celanese-green/

OMG, it's real!  It's homeliness, given its tiny stature and graphic ugliness, appealed to me, but I thought for sure it was a foob.  But it's real!  Sold!

But on a professional note, I just sent MTs sidebar site - talentppe.com - to all of my safety manager cohorts, in case they need PPE.  Maybe PPE sales can foster the development of many new pieces of N scale rolling stock.

I will pick up the Burlington car!  Looks pretty cool. All the talk of the tank car has got me intrigued.

That CR box is damn sexy.
You must be terribly disappointed that the particular planet car, which you've been anxiously anticipating, is not included among this month's releases.

glad you like it...my favorite scheme...  and thanks for the PPE referral, every little bit helps.   Being able to provide our mfg capabilities and the product we developed kept us open and functioning thru the early stages of the pandemic and is still keeping us going.

It's true. Hey @MTLJoe , what gives? :D

There's the Moon car, but it's not quite the same.

Very slightly.  The model is based on a National Steel (NSC) car while the UP cars are built by Greenbrier.  The most conspicuous difference is the tapered ribs on the NSC model, whereas the Greenbrier has straight ribs.   (The roof style is also different, but in theory MTL could tool a different roof.)

The TBOX, CSXT, and CN/DWC releases are spot on though.  A grand slam in my book, whereas the UP release is a bases-clearing triple. :)

Think of it as a tankcar load of pantsuits and leisure suits.
Remember Celanese Fortrel polyester?

I had some creative ideas for a "moon" car.  LOL

How about special "secret" limited edition of the "other" moon car.  I'm sure it would instantly become a highly prized collectible!  :D

The dealer media kit pics have been posted.  Nothing in this month's releases for me, but I hadn't noticed in the PDF pics that the ATSF Christmas caboose has a brick chimney for a smokestack.

Athearn also did the brick chimney on their HO release several years ago
