Interesting.  It seems this is the only magazine,  for me at least,  that is affected.  All of my other ones seem to get through reasonably well.

Those sounds like dubious excuses by the PO though.

I have contacted the rep at our printers and she is indicating the same situation with all of their magazines.
Quoting her: "Yes unfortunately due to the volume going through the USPS right now along with delays within the USPS with trucking issues there are delays to the in home dates.  We are continuing to work with the USPS to help and work through the issues, but we are seeing in homes later than normal, some as much as a week later than normal."
Last year, I recall it took up to 3 weeks in some locations in December, and this year is worse. I hope they will all be delivered very soon now that the volume is much less after the holiday.
 I want to thank you for your support and patience. It will get better and things should be back to normal with the next issue that ships the first week of February.

Mine has not arrived yet, I'm not worried - it will eventually get here. It is not like I don't have lots of hobby projects to occupy my time (and online forums to participate in).  No big deal.

Truth.
I have never really understood the consternation over a late arriving magazine.
Of course I would feel differently before pre-internet SI Swimsuit issues.

What's funny to me is that my N Scale has always arrived like clockwork.  Back when NSR was in print, that would habitually be late, though.  And, for four months after Kalmbach moved their printing to a firm near Tyler, TX (I'm in the DFW Metroplex) they were late or missing as well.  Even more frustrating than the "old days" when a few Railfan and MR magazines were often months behind getting issues out for lack of content or other reasons.

I guess the short version probably is, I doubt its a problem at N Scale HQ  but somewhere along the delivery chain.  Post Office, Printer, etc.  Or maybe the final delivery guy steals it because he's a model railroader, LOL.

Thank you for your responses. Most have received the Jan/Feb issue by now. There are a few I've noticed in PA and MD that have not received it yet. At this point, if you have not received your Jan/Feb issue, please send an email to info@nscalemagazine.com and we can reship the copy. The issue was shipped from our printer as it always is, the first week of the month, this issue being December 1st. There was a huge delay with USPS this year, but in 30 years of publishing, I have never heard of a delay this bad. We will continue to ship the magazines the first week of the month, usually a few days even before. USPS should be delivering on a more timely basis now that the holidays are behind us. March/April will ship the 29th of January. I truly appreciate your support.

You must have it pegged fairly well as I am in MD.  Ironically none of my other magazines have been late or delayed, and I am solidly of the mind that this is the post office's issue.  Id wait a bit more, but I suspect that its likely just lost completely.
