They must want to keep them because it's not showing up in my saved bookmarked N Scale search, or even if I click on micro trains in the manufacturers, but only if I search specifically for it.

I've missed out on several things recently because of weirdness with how they categorize things. Ed K told me that if they have something listed as an upcoming item where you can enter your email to be notified when it arrives, that means it won't get listed in their "What's New" feed when it becomes available.

Correct. It's because the "what's new" sort is based on when product entries are created. What happens when they arrive is that some of their info is changed (quantity, status, etc...), but if you're sorting by "created", that won't pop them to the top.

All I can say is use that "notify me" box. It works well.

That it does. I did this when the TBOX'S first appeared on the MBK website.  Got the email, gave them money, and they arrived at my front door.

So did anyone get the notice that the next release has been split into three separate release over several months at $45 per car.

It's on MTL's website.

I would assume that street price will be in the mid 30's which is what they have been.

Yea exactly what was sent out.  Great now we have to pay for shipping not once but three times.  Cancelled.

I've got my pre-order in with MTL for the July batch that's coming.

First time that I've pre-ordered from a manufacturer, so we'll see how it goes.

Nice looking units without a doubt. Even my wallet agrees. 😆

Surrender to the reality of graffiti.

Is MT doing the high number placement on these upcoming cars?

I guess the retail price on a 3 pack was getting hard to swallow for folks.

I think it was more a lack of ability to allocate the packaging/nesting materials if I read correctly somewhere else

I wonder if that's to keep the reporting marks and data above the graffiti?

I've noticed over the years that many of the serious graffiti artists, as opposed to simple "taggers", have learned to work around the lettering.

That's exactly the reason.  RR doesn't have to spend time patching/relettering over the graffiti.  Though I've seen some smart asses just move their art up too
