On Trainworld's Amtrak 50th Anniversary special event Kato USA announced N (and HO) Scale Amtrak Siemens Long Distance Charger.

Zoom forward to 2hr 20m in the video.
Start at 2:00:00 for the beginning of Kato USA's whole presentation.
Also, at 2:16:10 starts the various P42 schemes coming.

Probably the first prototype that features Bachmann's blue hue LEDs. So far, so good. One of the wipers if mis-oriented and there is no center windshield post, but that may be done with paint.

FYI Montreal commuter train services has just annouced an order for 10 Siemens Chargers.

TCS says they are providing the decoders. I assume, since they also did the sound for the HO version, that it will sound the same.
