In case you could not tell, I have too many cars, so it is time for a used car lot. I’m scratch-building a small office for the car lot and here are some ideas for signs.  Anyone know the vintage of the OK Used Cars sign?

Finished installing lights and valance, finally looks like a layout room. :)

Very nice!
It is always good to see modelers planning ahead, finishing the layout room with walls, ceiling, and a nice floor.  Your layout design is also really nice.  I can tell it will be a pleasure to operate your layout.

According to these sites (https://www.motorcities.org/story-of-the-week/2018/ok-used-cars-were-a-part-of-our-american-history & https://www.hemmings.com/stories/article/ok-used-cars) 'OK' began in the 1920's. But I also know that they are still around, in some areas, to this day. (https://www.rhinelanderusedcars.com/ & https://www.facebook.com/okusedcarsfrannie/) The Hemmings story even includes a number of OK magazine ads from the 1960's.

Rick:  For your PRSL diesels, can you find decals that are close enough to satisfy you, IF they aren't next to the factory numbers?  If so, it might be easier to renumber all 6 at the same time, than to try to match the existing numbers.

Trying to achieve 'a perfection' that doesn't exist in the real world...?? the more 'modern' the greater the variation and 'substitution' it appears to me from years of mags and pix online.

Quote "Later as used models hit eBay, I secured 3 more. Unfortunately, all were road number 2005. So, I now have (1) 2001, (1) 2008, and (4) 2005s. If I ever get my hands on appropriate decals (the ones I have are not the same height) I will fill in the group numbers."

Microscale got a similar font with four sizes....

The Lark diner is looking great; really neatly assembled. It may be just the lighting, but the name plates on the lower sides of the car look a little prominent...

Agree - those are the plates that came with the car.  I pried them off a couple of hours ago and put a much thinner piece of styrene on instead.  It looks much better.  The photos are from before I did that.

I finished up the Bachmann S4 project.
Details include wire rails along the top of the hood, wire grabs, twin beam headlight, homemade bell and bracket, Archer treadplte detail decals on the walkways, Z scale couplers and a Loksound 73100 decoder.
