I have seen many different things that people can do with O scale. One of the pics someone posted is the train running around the ceiling. My doctor does that in his living room at his house. I like the idea of 2 rail as opposed to 3 rail because 3 rail is not my thing. Saying that I have seen some very well detailed modules done in 3 rail O scale. Whatever you choose don't discount ideas from the 3 rail folks. Look at everything. I wish you luck.

Here's another pic along side the 1187. After more research, I removed the paint I had applied over the striping. However, it reminded me of how wrong ALL of the lettering on the tender is (the PRR is way bigger than it should be), but the stripes are back for now.

That would be BSME. I sold some of their members a ring of 66" centerline curve module blanks, autumn before the pandemic. There hasn't been a real Timonium show since then, but I expect eventually that timesaver will be a module set in larger layout at the shows when they return.

If they do end up getting a modular layout going, I might bring some of my own O2R equipment, and maybe consider building a module.
