Here's another pic along side the 1187. After more research, I removed the paint I had applied over the striping. However, it reminded me of how wrong ALL of the lettering on the tender is (the PRR is way bigger than it should be), but the stripes are back for now. (Attachment Link)

That all looks so nice, Ed. Glad you’re enjoying these earlier PRR prototypes. I’m looking at combining parts to kitbash a H-6a in G scale, and your work is helping motivate me.-Steven

Could there be an O scale model of Strasburg in your future?
Though I'm not a big Pennsy fan (I still have a soft spot for it, though), I really like what you're doing. Also wonder if a Strasburg in O might be in your future? If I modelled the PRR in that scale, it'd be awfully tempting to model a alternate world where the RR Museum of PA across the street routinely steams trains out of there on the Strasburg main, onto the (now Amtrak) main line at Paradise.When I was stationed at Aberdeen proving Ground (I think they were still using horses and flintlocks back then), I used to got to Strasburg every few weeks and rode the line often and drooled at the stuff in the museum across the street.Great work, love to see this stuff in O scale!

Looks like the old Canandaigua Southern. Cool to see the late John Armstrong's layout is still around even if he isn't.
