At $850, the caboose ride was not an option.  :)

My dad, a die-hard Nash/Rambler fanatic**, is smiling from Heaven.

**In the 40 years between my birth and his passing he only bought 1 car that wasn't a Nash/Rambler/AMC. And that was because, by then, AMC had gone under and good, used ones were getting scarce. It was a Buick, which he hated. Said the dash gauges were too far recessed. (The cranky, old Polack had to have something to whine about. :) )

I put Loksound in my Atlas Shay this week. It needs a bit more work to finish but it’s working!

As some might know, I'm helping @chicken45 finish some details on the car from the movie Duel.

I figured, if we're doing the Duel car, we gotta have a Mann to go with it!  So I 3D printed one.

I let him drive around the layout a little bit this afternoon.  So far, no sign of any trucks!  A good thing since I have to send him back to Josh soon.

You guys are pushing the envelope on all fronts and I’m still messing around with CMW trucks. My uncle had the Gulf dealership in Grayson, KY in the early sixties, so I want to have a service station and a small oil distributor. I‘m kind of stuck in a rut with the small stake trucks, but in my defense I wanted something to haul steel drums. I just need to paint some up for cargo. Nothing else I this photo has been “Kentuckianized” yet, for better or worse.

I hope you all enjoyed the Derby! Remember when cars had chrome?

Working on the retro Camden and Amboy kit to convert my retro Trix 2-10-0 into a proper L1.  Still working out the kinks of Tender pick up, but so far the tests have gone well.
