There are some first look videos on youtube. Seem to be pretty well detailed as rapido models are. Looks like they  use traction tyres on the first and last wheels.

Have two ordered thru my local hobby shop. They usually get stuff in pretty quick, so I'm expecting a call this week.

I got my two earlier last week 1 cn 1 bc rail . nice looking and smooth running locomotives , but they have traction tires ( don’t know if that’s good or bad ) the class lights and door window  are painted on (looks good from a foot away though )

At least, unlike the recent Atlas locos, I hope that the trucks are not tethered with wires, right?  :D

Got my two in today, a BC rail and the CN with the North America logo. One of the trucks had come off at some point, but it snapped right back in, and it hasn't come out again. They run beautifully out of the box, and the sound may be the best I've heard in N scale. Very happy with my purchase.

I got the same (BC Rail and the CN NA logo). One of my trucks fell out but also snapped back in.

Just ran my BC sound unit and, yes, the sound is very good. The horn is quite impressive.

Not sure what the deal is with a traction tire, though...

They weren't able to gear the middle wheel so they must've added the traction tyre to compensate for it. The middle wheel does pick up power though.

Glad I didn't buy one if they indeed do have traction tires. No modern made diesel should have traction tires. Period.

Received mine today from the LHS and didnt have any issues with trucks falling out. It does sound great, but silly question, when idling were the prototypes really that much more quiet than say non-cowled because of the cowling?

Or maybe I am just used to some of the factory settings that come from numerous manufacturers in both N (and HO) of too loud out of the box.

Anyone know where I can find the BC RAIL with yellow strips?  Thanks!
