I asked Paul about it on facebook, and his reply was if it wasn't in the notice, they didn't get it. So no Minibox, RS10/18 or newsprint cars

I mentioned this back in the Springfield show thread in February.

I'm pretty bummed that the Newsprint cars were not included. These had a lot of potential if some changes in the tooling were made.

The chop nose GP9 is great! I used these are a base for my GP10 kit bash. This may be the only way we see a GP10 as the IM project seems to have dried up. If they could make minor adjustments to the tooling, they could mount the hood on a GP 9 or GP18 walkway and Americanize it the headlight and number boards on the CP version were separate, so one could even tool a new number board section to make a GP10 or even a MILW GP20.

Didn't this happen last year? That's what my website says anyway.

Bummed about the RS10/18, but extremely excited about the C424 and GP9! I hope the C424 gets rereleased with DCC/Sound and is still compatible with older shells. The C424 is probably the engine I need the most of right now, so I am excited for the long overdue rerelease, whenever that happens.

The minibox would have been nice to see. The newsprint boxcar would have needed a lot of work, not just on the door guides.

Wonder when Atlas will start releasing heritage units for all the fallen flags they’ve acquired?

I'm sure I have a surplus Life Like E unit around here somewhere.  Maybe I'll start working up a paint scheme.

This may be the only way we see a GP10 as the IM project seems to have dried up.

I think this might be self inflicted, no one wants to preorder when stuff that was announced 4 years ago still hasn't proceeded past "Confirmed for Production"

TLT never released an N Scale Minibox.  it was supposed to have been done in N Scale along with the reefers and hoppers but we only ever saw the newsprint boxcar.

A new newsprint car in several variations may be in our future.

The and GP9 and C424`s are big.  Their newsprint boxes are nice but took some work to lower to look right

I first contacted TLT about the mini box in 2013.  They were ready to produce them if they got the orders, but they said they weren't getting any.  I recall at the time I couldn't find any US on-line dealers listing them.  Fast forward to 2016 I contacted them again.  This time they said they were having a hard time getting distributors to carry their stuff which means store couldn't order them.   I asked again in 2017 and never got a reply.

Maybe Atlas can get them going since they don't have the issues with distribution.
