One day all the days will be gone.

So in this tight little spot I put a cliche "hole in a cliff mine". Didn't have room for much more.


The grey parts are from a Grandt Line Silverton ore chute.

Most of the coal mines in Ohio were just a hole in the ground. In fact this pretty big mine:

@Lemosteam  the brass pilots I had made for another Climax didn't shrink much at all. At most the part is about .0015" smaller than I drew it.

The amount of shrink grows with length, width and height.  The longer wider and taller the design, the more shrinkage you will see. (TWSS right?)  Anyway, hopefully none of your fit dimensions will have a problem the rest is all proportion.

When I did the S scale sideframe, bolster and journal kit here, the 2% allowed all of the parts to fit properly after shrinkage, and yes the journals are sprung.  We compared the castings to my enlarged CAD and we saw on average 1.5%-2% depending on the dimension.

I went 1.5%, hope it works. I'm mostly worried about the couplers hitting the trucks.

You can see some of my idea scribbles. I found another tipple that looked even smaller and had a couple interesting bump outs. So this is what I ened up with:

So where could I look for Sculptamold?  I checked Hobby Lobby, Micheals, and JoAnn Fabrics. None have it and I'm almost out. I can't believe I gotta mail order this stuff
