So I found where I saw CM 2-8-0 drawings:https://leadvilledesigns.com/products/p-48-colorado-midland-2-8-0sIf you know where that drawing is from and you want a new cab let me know.
Oh *****. Hey @Dave V , wanna build one of these? https://leadvilledesigns.com/products/1-48-colorado-midland-st-charles-34-boxcarBecause I sure as hell do!
That car has the original "Horseshoe Pass Route" logo. When the Midland was being built, it was originally going to cross the Mosquito Range into Leadville from South Park at Horseshoe Pass, but when push came to shove it was easier and more operationally prudent to build to the south through the much lower Trout Creek Pass (which it shared with the Denver, South Park & Pacific narrow gauge) and then up through Buena Vista (served by the D&RG(W), CM, and DSP&P/C&S). However, the logo with the horseshoe had already been designed and implemented on new equipment being delivered to the railroad. The more recognizable "Pikes Peak Route" logo came just a bit later but was pretty much in use system wide within a few years of completion of the road.
Decided to re-do CMRy 49's incorrect paint t...because its ghost is visible in the shot...I wonder if I can remove the film ...
