I just wanted to poll you guys on a few things. I want to take one more stab at this before I give up for life.

1. What software do you use?
2. I use a laptop, and this has NOT been easy What are you guys using for systems?
3. Do you use online model repositories? If so, where?
4. What other software do I need to get a model ready for something like an Anycubic Photon or similar?
5. What other alternatives to the Photon should I be looking at?

My primary interest would be creating vehicles, passenger cars and buildings.

1) Fusion 360.  This is becoming an industry standard, is free for hobbyists, and you can find actual classes for free like Titans of CNC. Will also be useful for CNC machining if you choose to go that route in the future.  And it's not going to dissappear or have major bugs to deal with.
2) Macbook Pro
3) Thingaverse, though it's rare to find something I need.
4) Chitubox, haven't experienced the need to clean up pixels in each slice as others have noted with other slicers for the Photon.
5) Elegoo Mars, if you're looking for same class of printer but updated.  It will work great out of the box.  4k will be the next thing to watch, once we get past the initial rush (long lead times expected)

Ok Mike.  When you post something like that we need to know more details!  The grey turrets look like standard Photon prints but what made the white part of the structure with all the stone/brick detail?  I am guessing laser cut acrylic.

Very nice!

Fusion 3D with some Inventor for older files which I run on a workstation I built.  Hopefully I can get my Photon out again someday and do some printing.  :|

1. Autodesk Inventor, AutoCad for anything 2D
2. My gaming PC
3. Thingiverse on occasion
4. I use Chitubox and the Anycubic Photon File Validator on occasion to check for unsupported islands
5.The Elegoo Saturn and Epax X10 are both on my potential next printer purchase list

Lol. Your guesses are correct, but printed on Elegoo Mars. This is part of the Milwaukee Depot in N scale.
