MT planet cars

Oddly the PO just delivered my MB Klines order on Sunday.  Anyway I got the MT planet car Mercury that lights.  So the box shows nothing at all on how it works. I opened it to find a board, a battery and a clear lense to project the light outward.   This is my first experience with this type of car.  So I went back to Klines to see if I missed something. Yes, you must purchase a magnetic wand to operate the lights.  Ok ordered.     Anyone else have these cars ?   I ordered the Sun car while I'm spending more doe.

So the activating wand is not included?  That's nuts!  Kind of like buying Microsoft Windows OS, and then having to buy the activation code separately!  If you have a magnet handy you could likely have saved few dollars.

And way you can post a photo of the innards?

I’m sort of thinking that the wand is separate so no one complains “why do I have to pay for a wand with each car I get”.
 ;)
That said, when I looked at these I don’t recall seeing a note on the wand not included and available separately either.
If something needs something else to operate it then it should be clearly displayed.

I wonder if a wand from those Rapido easy peasy passenger car lights would work.

Aren't there two versions? A lit one and an unlit one? At least there are the two versions for Venus, with a $9 price difference.

Apparently the wand was included with the Sun...

Ahh.   I didn’t see that one.  Now this sort of makes sense.  It would be logical to start a collection of solar system cars with the sun IMHO.

Now that the wand question has been answered, I would still like to see the car's electronic innards.  8)

Magnetic reed switches aren't very particular; just pass any magnet near it.

Yeah I'm 100% sure this is a dry run for lighting kits on their heavyweights.
There's a shyness found in reason
Apprehensive influence swallow away
You seem to feel abysmal take it
Then you're careful grace for sure
Kinda like the way you're breathing
Kinda like the way you keep looking away

Too bad those are powered by batteries, but with plastic wheels, that is the only way to go.  :|

I'm betting it's not much different from an Easy-Peasy unit.
