Really enjoying my new Digitrax DT602 throttle!

Yikes, that thing is like almost twice the size I thought it was!

With the big holiday weekend, I thought maybe these were made into the world's biggest smokers!
Happy Fourth!

The Laurel Valley Excursion sold out, so we had to lease some SEPTA cars...

Wow!  TWIST  (That's What I Say Too):D
And I thought my NCE throttle was large.  This thing is huge!  No disrespect intended, but that thing looks like a Fisher Price toy.  I'm sure it is very feature-rich, and intuitive to operate.

Yea, well, in all seriousness, being a lover of steam and its form, that ridiculous looking loco-logo turned me off Digitrax from day one and thus 20 some years ago, I became an NCE user, by default. Not that I regret it...

It’s not larger, by much, over the previous DT500...
Here is a comparison photo.
The new throttle, with the backlit, soft buttons, and large LED screen, is far more intuitive to use and the large throttle knobs allow me to control speed with one digit of the same hand I use to hold it.

Made some progress on the next EP-2.

Red is the hardest color to mask with all of this detail.
Glad to have that step behind me.

Finished lettering the new Laurel Valley switcher...

And repaired two more of these little fellows, bringing the total fleet to 3.
