Figured I'd share an update...what there is to update. I promised Ed I'd throw some street running in someplace and after seeing the brewery in the Susquehanna video,  I plopped a loop of Tomix Wide Tram track down. It'll disappear into the building, which is a Radical Flats photo backdrop building which I'm going to build up a structure of foamcore behind  it and some 3D details to give it a little pop. That added, I had to raise the scenery base to match the WT track height.  With the help of Ed and his picture-taking machine, I have the background in for the front half and completed the  cover that boxes it in. I've rearranged the buildings for the umpteenth time and I'll probably do it once more since I found an inexpensive but well executed for the price 3D printed building on eBay. Of course, being the Homer I am, I couldn't resist stringing a few wires and JFRT for an evening. So, trimming the roads in, laying down some scenery, LED lights,  details, etc. remains to be done.

I love that kit...I missed the boat on them. I did build one in O Scale for someone. I already have a burger joint, named for my friend Cliff, who passed on last year after a short, intense bout with mesothelioma. The joke behind it is Cliff's partner, a NASA scientist, is a longtime vegan so like Jules Winnfield, pretty much made him one. Except when we were out doing train stuff. Even though he was non-religious, Judy had her Rabbi do a service for him at their home. Afterwards, we were talking and I relayed a story about us being at a diner up in PA during NSW and him asking the waitress if she recommended their chateaubriand for breakfast.  Of course, he got the stink eye and said, "oh well, scrapple and eggs will be fine." She looked at me and said "he ate meat?". Oops...
