Not yet, although about a week ago I got an email requesting my name and "paypal" email address.  We'll see.

Conrad

Ps Do I have to log into PayPal to see a refund?

David is working through the lists and refunding, at least partially, the kickstarter folks. I am getting a list from him of everyone so that if the DCC-EX team comes up with new hardware (we are discussing a variation of the FireBox that may be modular where you can snap on pieces you need) all those people will be given special consideration for the new board.

DCC-EX is in final beta. Our plan is to release it over the weekend. We need to get a few more beta tests back, but it is looking good! Next up will be TPL the "train programming language" that will add automation and some of the things we couldn't finish for this release. More documentation has been added to the website and we have more of the "user manual" to do that explains in more detail option and operations of features like how wifi looks to see if it had credentials to login to a router first, then drops into ap mode and searches all the serial ports automatically to find wifi, etc.

Got my partial refund yesterday.   Close to half.   I was hoping that since I had committed to two, I might get more returned such that my loss is equivalent to the others, but no such luck.

Half of your total for two or half of one?   Nothing here yet.  I'm guessing Paypal will send me a message when a transfer happens.

Are you guys getting the refund via PayPal or some other method? I just want to know where to watch for it.

I think everyone who has gotten a refund so far has gotten it through PayPal.

I don't have a PayPal account and wasn't going to create one just for this refund.  Since I never got an answer to my question on how he was handling refunds for people without PayPal accounts, I put a note in the shipping instructions saying I didn't have one and wasn't creating one, and said if he couldn't deliver the promised reward, he should send my refund via check or money order to the provided address.  I'll let you know if I see anything.

I've given up on seeing anything back at this point. Live and learn.

Seems like refunds are going out in batches.  I got notice of mine from Paypal on the 29th.  I got back $51.34 of $111 ( 2 FireBoxes plus shipping) or 46.25%

I still hope FlightRisk and crew are able to get something worked out. for hardware. It would be a nice addition.
