I spent the week adding details to my elevator operation. First off, some safety signs for the ends of the hopper sidings -

Oh yeah, and then there's this. But that's all still a work in progress :)

Finally DONE with this.

I added an antenna on the chimney. My shitty soldier job actually worked out to my advantage.
The MG keystones were made of a graphic that the @Ed Kapuscinski made from scratch. I printed these on photo paper and shaved thickness off them with a technique that @Lemosteam suggested. I also added that little vent on the left side.
I painted the rafters brown after talking with some PRRT&HS folks.
I weathered the roof with powders.

Here's a Clerihew about Ed. K.

Ed Kapucinski
Every night, he plants a new tree.
But mention his law
and you've pulled your last straw!

Alternate version:
Ed Kapucinski
Every night, he plants a new tree.
He asks excitedly "Did you say Ménage à Trois?"
No, I said "Ed's Law."

I still have the music from the police car video stuck in my head.

A buddy of mine who lives in Chandler was kind enough to print out a few wig wags for me.

I used some really old Floquil Old Silver that is still good. About the time they were just about dry, my Great Dane walks by the table and his jowl catches one, fortunately it landed on the floor. On a side note, my 2-8-0 pulled a 23 car train! Now I need to do some more track cleaning

Finally got around to finishing up the tender for my DL & W 4-6-4. Scratch-built except for the trucks and ladder. Now for some weathering.

Very nice!  Judging by the thin walls, it appears to be made of metal (brass?).  How did you model the rivets?

While not up to DKS' level, it will serve to illuminate a side room in one of the Cedar Street houses.

Love the freight doors and television, and the scenery.  All fine work.

Good Job on the tender, jym1. You got my attention, but I want to see the 4-6-4 !!  :o

I built one, but cheated and used the stock Con Cor tender.
